Handcrafted in the UK they are available with either 1500, 2000, or 3000 nested springs for an exceptional level of support, in a range of spring tensions for tailored comfort, they use nothing but natural fillings for a natural night’s sleep.

Expertly made in the UK, all of our mattresses use a carefully selected blend of British Wool and hand teased Alpaca Wool for an unrivalled level of comfort and support. A beautiful fibre, alpaca is one of the softest premium fibres used in high-end bedding manufacture and is much softer than sheeps wool. Widley considered the most luxurious filling, it is fast becoming the must have natural fibre solution.

Our Alpaca wool mattresses are hand-tufted, and feature edge to edge support, each one lovingly handcrafted with meticulous care for a perfect finish and exquisite comfort.

For an even more personal sleep experience, all of our mattresses are customisable not just by the number of springs, but also their tension. Choose from Soft, Medium or Firm depending on your personal preference.

This Willeyer Heritage Alpaca Wool Mattress by Penrose Products is Vegetarian Society approved. No animals are harmed in the making of any of our alpaca wool products. Alpacas are not killed for their fur or meat and they are not at all harmed come shearing time. The wool is collected only once a year, and is easier to collect than that of a sheep. Great care is taken so as not to distress the animal or damage the fleece. The Vegetarian Society seeding symbol is the only legally registered trademark for vegetarian accreditation. No other vegetarian trademark can give consumers such reassurance and inspire such trust.
