COVID-19 Update

Here at Penrose our family team continues to operate with the health and wellbeing of our community the top priority at all times. As a company our core value is to care for others, and we take our responsibilities very seriously during these challenging times. We’re doing all we can to continue operations at a reduced capacity, following government guidance and advice, whilst listening to our customers, colleagues and experts. Our team continues to be committed to getting deliveries to you quickly but in the safest possible way for all. With this in mind we've introduced a number of important measures that we want to share with you.

Family in our workshops always operate to the highest standards of hygiene, but we've recently taken additional steps to help protect the ones we love, including you. As well as ensuring social distancing at all times, our small team are operating with staggered shift patterns to handcraft our natural healthcare products in the safest possible way for all. Team members are working mostly in isolation, whilst wearing face protection as an added precaution. We have also increased our already high standard of hygiene with more rigorous cleaning regimes, regular deep cleaning, readily available hand sanitiser and frequent staff breaks to allow for hand washing. Our company is working with minimal staff and we are striving to work remotely (or from home) wherever possible.

Working With Care

We are also working with our couriers to encourage safer deliveries, helping to protect both their drivers and your health. This includes selecting safe places for packages to be left, and drivers signing on your behalf. All packages despatched from Penrose are sanitised before leaving our workshops and are handled wearing suitable protection. Collections and deliveries will take slightly longer than usual timescales at the present time, but they will still generally arrive within a few days. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to make this situation just that little bit easier for those affected.

Last but by no means least, it's incredibly important to us to show our massive appreciation to the hard working, dedicated NHS staff during these times, so we're offering a 10% discount on all of our bedding products for those with the Blue Light Card and members of the Health Service Discounts scheme. To claim your discount, simply contact us with your ID or membership number and we’ll get back to you with a code to apply in our shopping basket. Additionally, we are also looking at ways to offer help to hospitals and healthcare providers directly through the development and supply of much-needed protection products. Working together, united as a team, we will get through this pandemic. Stay safe, keep protected and remember to spread the love, not the virus.
